Malaysia Adaptation Sharing Hub (MASH)” event on 23-24 October 2024
11 GCoM Malaysia cities (Seberang Perai, George Town (Penang Island), Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam, Johor Bahru, Muar, Segamat, Kota Kinabalu, Sandakan, Sibu and Miri) were eligible to receive capacity building under the Climate Adaptation Fund – Malaysia Adaptation Sharing Hub (MASH).
One of its core objectives is to build institutional capacity to adapt to climate change. The knowledge management platform developed through this programme will facilitate the capturing and dissemination of results, not only to other districts in Penang but also to the other 11 GCoM Malaysia cities, enhancing replication potential. MASH aims to foster engagement across different levels of partnership. This collaboration will contribute to annual community engagements, mapping the impacts felt, providing insights from communities, offering updated scientific data, and clarifying any doubts with MASH partners.
